Biography
Corin Tucker (born November 9, 1972) is a singer and guitarist, best known for her work with rock band Sleater-Kinney. In April 2010 Tucker announced she was recording a solo album for Kill Rock Stars to be released in October 2010. Working along Tucker on her solo album is Unwound’s Sara Lund and Golden Bears’ Seth Lorinczi. According to Tucker, the album will be a “middle-aged mom record”. The band’s first album, 1,000 Years (2010), was released in October of 2010 on Kill Rock Stars to generally favorable reviews. -- via last.fm
